Glarakia is located in a quiet place with a view to the sea and the gulf
of Milos, 500 m from the centre of Adamantas and only 1 km from the port.
Adamas
Adamas is a seaside village with approximately one thousand inhabitants,
is a tourist centre and port. Peace and quiet is combined with
entertainment and an enticing night life. Banks, a post- office, port
police,customs office, doctors, dentists, a chemist shop, Greek
andinternational tourist agencies, are just a few of the facilities
available to the visitor. Without having to leave Adamas, we can sunbathe
on one of its two beaches Lagada and Papikinos.Both beaches are sanndy and
shaded by tamarisk trees. In Adamas there are a number of restaurants,
ouzeries, pizzerias, snack bars and grills, cafe's, bars and nightclubs. |

Milos is the fifth largest island in the Cyclades with an area of 151 sq.
km, a population of 3,222 inhabitants and 126 km of coastline. Its shape
resembles a horseshoe, as the two sides of the island are joined by a
narrow isthmus; in between, the sea penetrates deep inland to form the
huge Bay of Milos and its safe natural harbour, which is one of the
largest in the Mediterranean. |
